Introducing the NEW CBANC for All of Us

CBANC was created and exists now to help community banks and credit unions survive, thrive and compete in a fast changing and uniquely challenging economic, technological and regulatory environment. Community credit unions and banks are vital and oftentimes indispensable parts of the communities they serve; locally owned and operated, focused on the needs of the families and businesses in their communities and uniquely knowledgeable about local conditions and needs. Their loss, the conquest of the small by the big, would cause irreparable harm to our communities, our families and our neighbors.

Our mission is to help these banks and credit unions accomplish their mission. We have done that and will continue to do that by helping bankers become smarter and better bankers, creating a safe space for them to collaborate, share knowledge and best practices and help them serve their customers and members. With over 65,000 verified banking professionals representing 8,600 credit unions and banks as members, millions of exchanges among bankers, thousands of documents shared and over 50,000 new questions being searched or asked every month, CBANC has been the place for banking professionals to go for the answers they need for over a decade.

Change, however, is constant; for the credit unions and banks we serve as well as for us.  We’ve listened to the CBANC community in polls and surveys we’ve conducted, in focus groups and individual discussions, and we realize we need to up our game.

Today, we are launching a new CBANC.

This is the next phase and the future of CBANC.  Where we launch new ways for you to get answers, new tools to help you serve your community and new partners to help you navigate the regulatory and technology challenges you face.  This has been and will be your community, driven by you with answers at the speed of you.
